Gisborne residents have done it again by digging deep on Good Friday.
A grand total of $31,150 was raised for the Royal Children’s Hospital Appeal with your support.
A big thanks to the staff and customers of Foodworks Supermarket who contributed a massive $20,000.
Gisborne Scouts and fire fighters door knocked the town and raised $11,150.
Lt Peter Harry says the aim was to beat last year’s total by raising $10,000+.
“We collect on behalf of our town, with Scouts and Cubs lending a hand to door knock as many homes as possible, as it’s a cause that Gisborne CFA members are passionate about supporting every year.”
Gisbus kindly supported our collection by providing drivers and buses to help move our collectors around.
Football fans at Gardner Reserve watching the Gisborne vs Kyneton clash also contributed.
